Hay Days
I painted this watercolor for a client, Fred Borth, in Fairview, North Carolina. It was a gift of his wife's beloved horses, Legacy and Bobby Sox. I really enjoyed doing this watercolor painting because of the beauty of these incredible creatures. I had the privilege of speaking to my clientÕs wife regarding the painting. The happiness in her voice was contagious! What a gift it was for me!
Technique: To achieve the misty look at the base of the mountains and the softness of the trees, I used a wet brush with no color to pull the existing paint off the art paper.
