Old Europe

I am so inspired by people. I love watching how people interact throughout a normal day, talking, laughing and just living life. The photo for this watercolor painting was taken as I walked around downtown Asheville, capturing photos of people in their daily lives. I loved the picture of the girl at Old Europe, a popular coffee shop. She looked sort of sad, which made me ask myself questions. Is she stressed out about school or work? Is she trying to figure out her next step in life? Personally, I love looking at a piece of artwork that evokes emotion for me or makes me wonder and think.
